The Administration (Under Construction) The main Reception Desk and Finance Office are currently located at the end of the Library building (previously Learning Support) for the duration of the building project. Offices for the Leadership Team (Principal and Assistant Principals) are also located here. All visitors to the school must enter through this building. The first aid room and sick bay facility are also located in the temporary Administration office.
The Chapel The Chapel was originally opened in March 1986 by Bishop Bernard Wallace. In February 2008, the Chapel and its contents were badly damaged by flood. As a result, The Chapel was refurbished and reopened in February 2010. Mass is celebrated every Thursday in the Chapel at 8am. All are welcome to attend.
The Marist Centre The Marist Centre, built in 2011, is the school’s multi-purpose centre. The facility is named after The Marist Sisters, the original founders of Emmanuel Catholic Primary School. As well as being an indoor sporting facility, whole school assemblies are held in the Marist Centre each week. Conferences, classes and other extra-curricular activities are also held in the stage area of the building.
Library The Library at Emmanuel is well resourced with both fiction and non-fiction books. It is open from 8.25am until 3.00pm each day and can be accessed by children at lunchtime. The library boasts a large teaching space, equipped with 30 laptop computers to enhance learning for all students.
Recreational Facilities Here at Emmanuel, we are very fortunate to have abundant play areas for the students. The Father Joe Carroll oval is accessed by Years 3 to 6 students during lunch hours to play sports such as soccer, rugby and cricket. The top oval offers children the opportunity to use the basketball courts for a variety of sports and activities. Purpose-built play equipment and smaller grassed areas around the school are accessed by our Prep to Year 2 Classes.
